Today I had to face myself not being happy with a situation. I got angry/annoyed right away, then I calmed down and got my act together. It all got solved in a good way, but I wish I never got angry/annoyed. I observe my thoughts both as I get angry/annoyed and also after, and it truly helps me.

What I also find really helpful is to tell someone about it, make a few jokes about myself and then get back on track. For me it is like an asana, I might stumble or fall out of a posture, but it is just to get my act together and try again.

So as Eckhart Tolle says drop your meditation method and be in the present moment. Here is a clip:
