For the first time I enrolled in an easter workshop at my Iyengar studio, 2 1/2 hours for three days.

The focus is to go a bit beyond the regular classes, so in order to attend I had to do 3 sessions a week with the teacher, Selma Hetland, the last two weeks.

The first class went so fast and the second was great too.

In the second I learned to do Sarvangasana on a chair, and use a chair for Halasana as well. In Halasana one stretches the back in a good way when you use the chair and bolster.

When it comes to headstand Hetland says one needs to work on the foundation, and be able to do a couple of easier asanas. You can work on the foundation for a while before you try it.
